Photosynth + Geology

I'm currently updating an older post that includes geology panoramas but I just love this photo so much I had to post it again - actually this is a second post about GRBA as I've posted a static image before. This is a fantastic view of Wheeler Peak and the relict rock glacier nestled in Lehman Cirque.

Hello, John,

Photosynth's panorama viewer is certainly an exceptional one.

If you ever have opportunity to get aerial shots of a site from all around it, you should try making a true photosynth.

Give this example a look and be certain to inspect Overhead and Point Cloud view.

Thanks Nate, that is a great Photosynth! These photos were taken quite awhile ago without knowing they might end up in this type of viewer. To the future!
