The Schott rule is in effect, meaning that any previous winner has to wait one hour for every WoGE they've identified. Have fun and good luck!
EDIT: Posting time is actually October 20, 9:30AM EST. Blogger apparently posted my initial draft time.
My thoughts, complaints, photos, and reviews of geologic books, articles, etc...

This was a matter of luck... I spent quite some time in the dryer parts of Asia before it occurred to me that it could be in the Andes. As soon as I zoomed into South America, this was the first place that came up. I don't know what the geology is (apart from seeing a nice plunging anticline, some braided rivers and alluvial fans). But it is in the Argentinian Andes.
Nice find, Zoltán. There's a nice incised peneplain there, too.
The Schott Rule is killing me. I've had the last four but they were all solved before my waiting period was up. AAARRGGHHHH!!!
Nice find Zoltán! Exactly, that's what I meant about fantastic geology - nice intersection of hard and soft rock here. :)
Ron, guess we need to start making them a little harder so you can play again.
#65 is your Zoltán! Looking forward to a harder one!
cheers

WoGE #65 is up. Ron, hopefully this is difficult enough that you get a chance as well...
